Description Electric lantern with red globe and safety orange case and base. 1990s catalog describes this lantern as a 2-bulb flashing incandescent lantern. Backup bulb activates manually. Molded rubber handle. 360 degree lens. Case, base and lens made of Lexan plastic which insures operation in cold weather. Manufacturer claims operating temperature range of minus 20 degrees to 135 degrees Fahrenheit. 2 bulbs, type number 27. Requires one 6 volt Lantern type battery for operation. "NYCTA" stamped on one side of case.
