Description Tail Lamp or caboose lamp manufactured by the Dressel Railway Lamp and Signal Company. According to a manufacturer's catalog, this lamp likely houses a short shaft burner, a sliding door with pressed steel water shed, tin fount, two heavy strap iron hangers on back, one 5-in. diameter red lens in lens holder, and a balanced draught or "no sweat" principle ventilator. The manufacturer supplied left and right tail lamps. This lamp is believed to be the left.
