Description Knob and shaft from Field Transfer Switch Panel removed from Power Substation # 11 (IRT) in 1999. Numerical inscription on knob corresponds to the R-5 Rotary converter the knob controlled. Possibly manufactured by Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Company.

Wood knob painted black and worn with use; knob face with stenciled numerical inscription "1" in white paint; Metal indication arrow with white painted tip attached to knob back; metal shaft extends out from knob back center; shaft with threaded tip to connect with internal components of the field transfer panel.
