Description Shore Scleroscope set. The Scleroscope is an instrument used to determine the relative hardness of a material by measuring the pressure required to penetrate it with a diamond stylus. Contains self-contained scleroscope, mount, steel replace bars, blank curved charts (10), wrench, extra glass tube, steel ring (broken) and v-shaped steel accessory for mount, glass tube with attached plunger (hardened), rubber tubing (hardened and broken), and carrying case. Mount has company logo of "Shore / New York" on front and small decorative paint on back.
