Digging done to install underground bracing and duct runs for power feeders running to the Manhattan Railway Company's Substations. Picture shows trench, bracing, and existing sewer pipes.
Assembly of manhole is shown. Manholes were placed approximately every 400 feet along the runs in order to provide access to the power feeders in case of repair, replacement, or emergency.
