Scope & Content Subway car card that is part of the series "New York by Rehberger." Gustav Rehberger was an artist who created a series of car cards for the New York Subways Advertising Company in 1948 about various New York landmarks.

The car card is double sided. One side says "Time in Sixty Important Cities and Places Throughout World Indicated by Clocks in Lobby of Daily News Building East 42nd Street" with a pen and ink illustration of a standard time zone clock. The verso says "St. Francis of Assisi, 31st Street, is America's Most Cosmopolitan and Busiest Roman Catholic Church Staff Of 60 Priests Hear About 500,000 Confessions a Year" with a pen and ink illustration of the Church.
