Scope & Content Subway car card that is part of the series "New York by Rehberger." Gustav Rehberger was an artist who created a series of car cards for the New York Subways Advertising Company in 1948 about various New York landmarks.

The car card is double sided. One side says "Manhatttan's Oldest Tombstone is in Yard of Trinity Church, Broadway and Rector Street Tells Death of 5-Year Old Boy in 1681" with a pen and ink illustration of a tombstone. The verso says "Called the "Eternal Light is 125 Ft. High World War I Memorial in Madison Square Park Electric Lights Inside Heavy Glass Star Always Kept Burning" with a pen and ink illustration of the monument.
